GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
All in stock orders for customers shipping within the 48 contiguous states are processed and leave our stores within 1 to 3 business days, via UPS. Oversized or overweight orders may ship via freight line. In those cases, transit times may be extended. On any air shipments, and on all orders outside of the 48 contiguous states or to APO/FPO addresses, there may be additional freight charges on some items, for which you will be notified prior to shipment. All free shipping offers exclude orders which include items weighing over 20 pounds. In addition, all free shipping offers extend to orders shipping within the United States and do not include international shipments. Backordered items are items that are not yet in stock, but available for purchase. Once the item becomes available, you will be notified and the item will ship to you. SHIPPING WITHIN THE USA
Sales tax will only be charged on orders shipped to New York, in accordance with the law. Every shipment is insured for the full dollar amount of the order. Signatures are required at time of delivery for any goods, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If the items you are purchasing are being delivered to someone else, the responsibility passes to the person who signs for the delivery. We do our best to ensure that your items arrive to you undamaged, however if any goods arrive in a less than satisfactory condition please email us at online@modernanthology.com so we can assist.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
On any air shipments, and on all orders outside of the 48 contiguous states or to APO/FPO addresses, there may be additional freight charges on some items, for which you will be notified prior to shipment. International shipments may be subject to import taxes and duties and are the full responsibility of the customer. In addition some orders may experience customs delays, which we unfortunately have no control over. Furniture cannot be shipped outside of the US and Canada, or to the US territories outside the 48 contiguous states. Fragrance/taxidermy may not be shipped internationally. All offers for free shipping and similar promotions exclude international orders unless otherwise noted.
RETURN POLICY
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If a purchase fails to meet your expectations however, we will gladly exchange or refund the item. Please note that all items must be returned within 10 days of receiving your order, in the condition that they were received: NOT WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, DAMAGED and with ALL TAGS ATTACHED.
Refunds will be given for the cost of the item, not for the cost of shipping charges and are made in the same form as the original payment or by store credit only. When sending us your return, please fill out the Return Claim Form that has been included in your shipment. Refunds will be issued only after the item has been received by us. Please allow 3 to 4 business days for processing.
Please note the time it takes for refunds to post to your account may vary greatly depending on your bank and/or credit card merchant. Please allow 10 business days for the credit to appear on your billing statement.
FURNITURE
A return on any special order (non-stocked) furniture piece will incur a 30% restocking fee of the cost of the item. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for return shipping fees. All furniture returns are subject to Modern Anthology's approval. Please contact our customer service for approval. Cancellations to a furniture order may be made within 24 hours free of charge. Our furniture pieces, excluding vintage furniture, are made to order. Lead times can vary from 2-18 weeks. Please be sure to measure all doorways and interior spaces that furniture will be brought through to ensure that it will fit during delivery.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
All final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. If we receive a returned final sale item, the package will be returned to you, and Modern Anthology will notify you via email. No refund will be issued.
LATE RETURNS
Returns outside of the 10-day timeframe may be accepted at the discretion of Modern Anthology and may only be refunded as a store credit. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable except when store credit is selected as means of refund. Please email online@modernanthology.com for approval on a return outside the 10 day window, prior to mailing the return to us. All returns must be free from wear, stains, odor or any condition that would prevent them from being sold as new. Returned items must have their original tags attached and be accompanied by a copy of the receipt. All special order items are considered final sale. Returns on stocked furniture items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
FOOTWEAR
Upon receiving your shoes, check the sizing by trying them on indoors, on a clean or carpeted surface until you are certain you are keeping them. Footwear returns must be unworn, in the state you received them, and in their original, undamaged shoebox as this is considered part of the product.
GIFT CARD POLICIES
Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. All returned items that were paid for with a gift card will be refunded as a store credit to your Modern Anthology account for you to use against a future order. For item(s) paid by both gift card and credit card, you will be refunded on your credit card up to the amount of your initial card payment and the remaining amount will be refunded as Modern Anthology store credit.
FAULTY GOODS
We certainly hope not, but hey, it happens. We classify items as faulty if they are received damaged or a manufacturing fault occurs within two months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. When possible, we will offer to repair damaged or faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. RESPONSIBILITIES
Modern Anthology cannot accept responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of lost packages without proof of delivery. You will be notified by email once your return has been received and processed. Information to facilitate returns will be provided with your order.
