Stripe Foot Soldier Throw

In 1865, Faribault Woolen Mills was founded on a bank of the Cannon River to process raw wool. By 1872, they began making blankets, and have since modernized the design and construction. We think that 150 years of experience is enough to qualify as an expert.

It is believed that The Faribault Mill began making blankets for the military as early as 1897. The Foot Soldier is made to the same military specification they’ve been using since at least 1917. Originally designed to accommodate the widely varying temperatures of Cadet sleeping quarters, the construction of this blanket results in a warm, heavy, yet breathable product.
