Utility Knife Bone and Wood
Rooted in both ethics and aesthetics, Poglia combines age-old craftsmanship with ancient materials. The company specializes in handcrafted knives, leather bags, and loom-woven blankets: all designed in Brooklyn and made in the Poglia workshop in southern Brazil.
Utility knife for kitchen, household or outdoors. No two Poglia knives are the same. Each blade is hand-drawn and forged from repurposed steel, cut mostly from reclaimed disk plows. The metal will create a unique patina over time and with every use. The handles are made with materials such as wood, horn and bone and are finished with solid brass.
Every knife is handmade with a unique finish that is impossible to replicate. The blades aren't stainless, so they will age, giving them more character. Every scratch or abrasion is a memory that enriches the product and gives it a distinct, timeless edge. This adds beauty and style to the quality of the blade.
The utility knives come in a trim, handmade leather sheath.
Maintenance & cleaning: Hand-wash only. If needed, dry well and lubricate with mineral oil.
